Working Together for Causes that Matter.

OUR MISSION

To maximize women’s leadership in philanthropy by engaging and informing its membership, increasing charitable contributions, and significantly improving the greater Spartanburg community through the impact of collective giving.

OUR GOALS

EXPAND philanthropy and increase giving by local women of all ages;

BUILD awareness around issues of concern in the Spartanburg community, particularly civic health, economy, education, natural environment, public health, social environment, and cultural vitality; and

PROMOTE the power of collective giving.

Grant Opportunities

Through a Grants application process, the Grants Committee of Women Giving for Spartanburg will seek projects and programs meeting critical community needs in the five targeted areas of funding. Through extensive research and due diligence, the Committee will determine a slate of potential funding opportunities which will be presented to and voted upon by the membership.

Grants Finalists will present to our membership at the Grants Showcase in April and Grants will be awarded at the Women Giving for Spartanburg Annual Meeting in May. These events are open to the community!

Congratulations to our 2023 Grant Recipients

Women Giving for Spartanburg is proud to have awarded $176,500 in Grants this year!
